Is your surf board in need of repairs?

Dings and cracks keeping you out of the water? Instead of grabbing that ding- all repair kit and hoping all goes well, stop by and see Dante, NYPD's Surf Tech. With twenty years of surfing experience we can get your board back in the water in a matter of a few weeks. Need more info check our surf repair FAQ.

How much does surfboard repair cost?

The shop charges an initial rate of $60 for basic repairs, anything requiring more then a re-glass of the board will increase the repair cost. Including, but not limited to

• Multiple repairs

• Foam replacement

• re fixing previously repaired boards (by another shop, or yourself)

• fin cup replacement
  

How long does a repair take?

Repairs are on a board to board basis, but due to the high volume of repairs boards normally take a minimum of 2 weeks to repair and on average 3-4 weeks. Keep in mind we are a 4 person staffed shop, and our surf repair tech is also our buyer, manager, web master, surf instructor, and ASP member/competitor.

Do you fix all types of surf boards?

No. We do not repair any shelling system boards including, but not limited to Tuf Lite. We also do not fix Rusty's and Al Merric's. (note: exceptions will be made, but not guaranteed.)

How do I schedule an appointment?

You do not need an appointment for surf board repair. Boards can be brought to our shop during business hours 11am-8pm 7 days a week.
